Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat, Cough, Clear Green Phlegm
I started with a sore throat about twenty four hours ago. Now I have a sore throat, a cough with clear green plehm, and dizzy spells every once in a while? I don't drive and I don't have insurance so docter or hospital can't be done. What should I do?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have cough , sorethroat and green phlegem which seems to be due to upper respiratory tract infection/flu. It could be bacterial infection by strep leading to strep throat. I would suggest you to take nasal sprays and do warm saline gargles. You should take throat lozanges. You should take antibiotic Amoxicillin in combination with antiallergic medication Levocetrizine. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get paranasal sinus x-ray and throat swab test done along with routine blood tests and start treatment after proper prescription. Avoid oily and sharp food. Drink plenty of fluids.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
