Suggest Treatment For Spinal And Pelvic Arthritis

I have spinal and pelvic arthertis (sp). Late September I twisted my left side of my hips (with my left foot stationary). I have sever (white hot ice pick) pain in the left hip (where femur end sits in hip socket). When I hit my leg (any part) on anything stationary, the pain takes me to my knees). Now both hams BURN all the time. Standing and lay prone is almost unbearable. I m seeing a reflexologist (6 -1 hours) and did PT (tracstion) last week. Would nerve end burning be better or surgery. Thank you for the question. I would suggest consultation with an orthopedic specialist. It is likely your femoral neck or head (upper end of femur or socket joint has some damage. Plain X ray of both hips, MRI shall reveal the nature and extent of injury. Physical examination of any injured musculature around hip
As of now avoid direct weight bearing, take help of a walking stick to take load off the affected hip by holding stick in arm opposite the affected side.Take ibuprofen 400mg thrice a day after meals for 5 days
