Suggest Treatment For Stiffness In The Hands And Arms

Hi, I was diagnosed with Epstein Barr. I m having a lot of involuntary movements in my hands and arms. My shoulders are very stiff and I have the feeling of my arms having an uncontrollable floating sensation. It s hard for me to type, or control my hands. Is this common with Mono? Or is this something unusual? My husband says my shoulders have been up and tight for days.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Most probably it will be a musculoskeletal pain. We have to rule out possibilities like early arthritis.

As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
