Suggest Treatment For Stiffness Of The Finger

My fingers were feeling very stiff and would extend involuntarily. My doctor ordered and EMG and NCV test. The report describes incomplete relaxation in several extrinsic extensors muscles of my hand. Could this be the cause of the stiff and underperforming fingers?

Hello and thanks you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein and I will try to help you as much as I can with my answer.
Yes this could be the cause and you should do MRI scan now to see what is going on. This may be dupuytrene contracture or rheumatoid arthritis and should be treated with steroid shots.

I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us.
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
