Suggest Treatment For Stinging Sensation After Passing Urine
I am 42 years old, 5'4", 132 lbs and i have had sparatic stinging after i pee and a little before i pee for about 8 weeks. Sometimes days go by with nothing, but then it will start again. There is no discharge, and no itchiness - only stinging. i was testes for a uti when it first started and it came back negative. Can you give some advice. thanks.

Your description suggests that you are most probably suffering from UTI.
I think, you can repeat routine and microscopical urine examination and Culture & Sensitivity test. Sometimes there may be no growth, but presence of pus cells (Usually 5-10 pus cells / high power field is considered normal) indicates high probability of UTI.
If found positive, a course of Nitrofurantoin or Cotrimoxazole or Fluroquinolones is usually adequate to treat the condistion. Choice of antibiotic is made based on Culture and sensitivity report.
For more details you should contact a physician but please don't ignore the issue as the infection may ascend and can cause pyelonephritis (inflammation of Kidney) if not adequately treated.
