General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.
According to your clinical history you are having severe constipation along with abdominal pain despite using laxatives.Based on your symptoms you are probably having some kind of obstruction any where in your digestive tract.
Most cases improve well with non surgical treatments like nasogastric tube or flatus tube insertion.Surgery is required in extreme conditions.
I suggest you to consult a general surgeon or a gastroenterologist for a detailed evaluation. You might need an ultrasound of abdomen or CT scan to rule out intestinal obstruction.
Hole this information helps.
Wishing you good health.
Regards

General & Family Physician Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for asking your question at healthcare magic.

Since you are complaining of constipation and associated stomach pain which is progressing, It defenitely need medical attentionand and shojld not be continued to be treated at home with laxatives. The symptoms are indicative of obstruction of bowel and I recommend that you go to an urgent care/Emergency room.
You will need investigations like Xray and further management depending on the cause and degree of bowel obstruction.Incomplete/mild obstruction resolve without need for surgery.

Hope I was able to answer your question.
Please feel free to address any more concerns.
Regards,
Dr.Lekshmi
