Suggest Treatment For Stomach Upset

hi my 2 yr old yorkey and shitzo cross has been getting sick today hasn t eaten or drank much and it is green and yellow she was fine yesterday she has a upset stomach that l know because that had happen to me when l was a little girl her more than once.

Hello dear,

I read and understand your concern.

I am Dr Arun Tank answering your concern.

Green and loose stool in the baby is because of acute gastroenteritis.

I suggest you to maintain optimum hydration of baby by giving him ORS or Oral Rehydration Therapy.

If you maintain the hydration nothing much is required, everything will be cleared soon.

You can start the antibiotics drops like norfloxacin and metronidazole under doctors guidance. This will clear up bacterial and ameoibic infection as well.

Eating curd will replace the normal gut flora and so can help your baby recover fast.

Please maintain good hygiene in babies surrounding as only this small step can clear infection. It also prevents future infections also.
