Suggest Treatment For Stringy Discharge After Bowel Movement

I just went to the bathroom and I had a very strange experience. When I had finished going, I was about to start wiping when I noticed that my stool was basically hanging out of me on what seemed to be some sort of elasticy, stringy thing, that, much as I tried to shake it off, it wouldnt shake, so I ended up having to take toilet paper and pull it off. And it seemed to have bubbles or small pieces of feces still attached to it. Aside from that, I haven't had any health problems recently. I just thought this was strange.
