Suggest Treatment For Stroke Symptoms
Dr. Keerthi I am 70 years old and April 1 I had a stroke non bleeding. I have lost use of right side of my body. Now through with my rehab with PT and Occup T. But still have terrible tightness, numbness, tingles to drive me nuts. That is in the area of fingers, toes under and above them, and right arm above the elbow. The neck and shoulder and arm pain is less. I have had some acupunture last 6 weeks to try to help. I want to get back to playing the pipe organ and piano at my part time church job. Here I want to suggest you. Time of rehab in stroke patient depends on severity of stroke attack and the damage happened in brain. So have patience and do your best to exercise with Physiotherapist and occupational therapist. But the time of recovery and percentage of recovery is not define. Treatment for stroke is mainly only with physio and occupational therapy and in that there are different technique which can not be explain here in detail so I suggest to talk to yr therapist. As per my opinion it takes 6 to 12 months to give you good recovery. And you may become all right in this time.
