Suggest Treatment For Stuffy Ear And Running Nose

I have bronchitis and lots of fluid in my ear. My ears feel really stuffy. I am taking Levaquin and am on day 4 of 10. My nose is still running and I feel it dripping down my throat causing more mucus. When should I expect the antibiotics to kick in?

Hi,

You should expect a result on day 5 or 6 but you must continue the antibiotic you are having till you finish 10 days.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Salah Saad Shoman, Internal Medicine Specialist
