Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Pain In Shin After Injury

I banged my shin quite severely (fell up the stairs and all my weight came down on one step and onto my shin!), there is no brusing but lots of swelling and pain. It's weird because I normally bruise if someone so much as pokes me, so not having any bruising when there is this much trauma to the area seems odd! Is this normal?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. In case of more swelling and pain a fracture should be ruled out by doing a X ray.Hairline fractures can be present in such cases. In case of that immobilization should be done for fracture consolidation. If that is clear then it can be due to muscle strain and injury. In such case i advise NSAIDs like ketorolac and seratiopeptidase.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
Thanks.
