Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Red Rashes On Leg Of An Infant

Hi I took my 4 month old daughter for a walk In a baby bjorn. Whwn we got home her right leg was extremely red and swollen with small dark red dots in the swollen area. No other part of her was affected. There was no trauma or insect bites. She has no fever. The swelling went down (this was Saturday iy happened) but the red dots remained. Tonight the leg is swollen again...

Hello dear,welcome to healthcare magic forum.
Most probably this indicates some insect bite reaction though you may not have noticed that. If child is fully immunized, this can be managed with antiallergic drugs and antiinflammatory drugs for a few days.sometimes we may also need antibiotics. your doctor will guide you.
Meanwhile try to keep the limb elevated.
