Suggest Treatment For Swelling In The Gums And Fever

My daughter is almost 12 mos old. She has a low fever and her gums are swollen and painful. There is a lot of pus coming out. No bad breath. naturally she does not want to eat, cant sleep and seems to be in pain.

what is going on, what causes this?

It points to an infection of the Gums, use a antibiotic mouth wash and see a dentist .... is she on any medicines ? especially drugs for fits which can cause this as a side effect
