Suggest Treatment For Swelling On Leg

Last night I missed the two bottom steps due to darkness in area and fell down - ever since it hurts to walk - but I can walk carefully - there is some swelling on top near the leg and towards the outside of foot. I have been using a cold wet cloth to help. Do I need to see a doctor?

It could be a contusion. Nothing much to worry as it can be easily cured.

As of now take bed rest and apply icepacks for faster recovery.

If symptoms persists better to consult an orthopaedician and get evaluated.
