Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Inflammation On Ankle
hi. last night I was bitten by a friends dog on my right Achilles tendon (the back)..there are 3 puncture marks. we treated it last night with antibiotic cream and wrapped it. today, the bleeding has stopped, but my ankle is now swollen, red, and is warm to the touch. the dog has had all of its shots plus rabies, and the dog is a Catahoula, about 1 years old. is there anything at home or do i need to seek medical advice? thanks for your time, please let me know. thanks, Dena

May be you develop infection in your soft tissues.because in vaccinated dog there are lots of bacteria other then rabies virus in dog mouth.so you should go to doctor and start antibiotics and other symptomatic medicines
