Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Ankle

Hello Doctor, I got injured in a soccer math about a month ago where i twisted my ankle with severe swelling on and around my fibula. I got an X-Ray at the hospital and the doctor recommended I use an ankle support sleeve in order to help ease bone restructure. I ve done this for the first 2 days along with applying prescribed cream. I stopped after that and it seemed to heal. Only 2 weeks later, after I thought it had healed, I fell similarly and experienced the exact same if not more pain then I did the first time. As well, the 2nd fall was not nearly as hard as the first, leading me to believe that my bone had still been considerably weak the 2nd time it sprained. Now it is hugely swollen around my fibula and regardless of my usage of the ankle sleeve and cream application, the swelling doesn t seem to go away with my right ankle seemingly twice as large as my left. It would be appreciated if you could inform me on what exactly happened to my bone and how I can treat it. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon .
