Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Lump In Labia Majora

Hi, I am 40 yrs old. 3 days ago I noticed a large hard lump on my inner labia majora has formed on the edge where it begins to fold down to labia minora. It is long, wavy/bumpy. About size of an oblong 50 cent piece. Have had cysts removed from bikini line/inner thigh in past, however it was many years ago. This is very tender & painful. Shaved the area apprx 5 days prior to noticing this knot. It is very swollen. I have taken pics if there is a way to send to you please let me know. I had full std screening 2 yrs ago. Have had same sexual partner for 5 years. Don t feel this is std related. What I am finding online ranges from minor up to serious life threatening possibilities. Worried.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated. It can be an infected boil or wart. Nothing much to said it is a harmless and easily curable condition.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
