Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Rectal Area
I have a 15 year old Chow that I just noticed today having a swelling in the anal/rectal area. Appears to be a soft, round sac- like on feeling it. He has also a small lypoma ---? sp.--- on the chest area. Are these two items related on the dogs body ? He show no discomfort, pain or constipation. Suggestions ? Thank You.
You have small elevation around rectal area that is may be because of external hemorroids. Hemorroids are actually dilated vein . Excessive straing may cause bleeding.
Constipation may worsen the hemorroids. Do some diet modifications. Avoid spicy foods and oily foods. Drink more water. Avoid prolonged sitting at same position.
Take high fiber diet for proper digestion. Eat fresh fruits and green vegetables.
Take care. Thanks
