Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Stomach

Hi My sister just moved to a different city and she has been sick since. She feels bloated, her stomach becomes huge and painful to a point where it is difficult to move. She also had a nose bleed and feels dizzy. On top of that she now has a headache. All of this gets worse at night. She went to see a Doctor and he suggested that its probably a digestive problem that is causing her stomach to be bloated and he gave her a prescription for it. It doesn t seem to help. Please help. THanking you in advance .

Dear, first of all, your sister will need to identify what food makes her stomach to bloat . Some vegetables as brocolli, coliflower and lettuce can give this problem. It makes the digestion slower and creates bloating. Diabetes Mellitus can cause slow digestion and create this problem too. Patients that have had gallbladder surgery or malfunctioning gallbladder may experience the same.
I will recommend to start diet modification, avoid to go to sleep just after eat and avoid big portions of food.
