Hi, I m pretty sure I broke my baby toe last night, it s completely purple and swollen.. My baby toe use to be very close to the toe next to it, almost laying on top of it but now there is a space between them and I can t move it, the pain is horrible, shooting up my leg at times and then other times it feels nume... What do you think??
your symptoms suggest that you have sever soft tissue injury over toe. icing ,anti-inflammatory analgesic such as diclofenac ,limb elevation over pillow and rest will decrease pain. strapping of injured toe with adjacent toe will give support to its tissue injury. if swelling persists for more then seven days then visit to your orthopedician and get an xray of injured toe. Hope this helps. Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
Wishing you good health.
