Suggest Treatment For Swollen Bumps On Hands, Wrist And Arms

There are bumps on my hands, wrist and arms that I got from taking a generic for Singulair. I was told by the doctor to discontinue taking the medicine. However, the bumps on my arms, hands wrist itch and when I scratch them they swell up like mosquito bites. What can it be?

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you have developed allergic reaction to some drug. You should stop the medicine causing it.For itching you can take cetrizine. You can take avil and steroid after consulting your doctor. Steroid ointment for local application can reduce swelling and itching. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
