Suggest Treatment For Swollen Knee Despite Having Prednisone For Knee Pain

My gout came on about 11 days ago in left knee. took indomethician (spelling?) and then colcrys, both didn't help. then got put on prednisone, after a week the pain finally is going away but now i have noticed my knee is still swollen and the swelling goes down into my foot. the calf is a little swollen but i can definately see the ankle and the foot are swollen. wondering if there might be more than gout?

sometimes when the knee is swollen the fluid goes down to the foot and ankle, it is called a ruptured bakers cyst, so it may have been a better idea to get a steroid injection into the knee, that would take care of the entire problem faster.
