Suggest Treatment For Swollen Tonsils After Treated Flu
Hi, I finished ztab? I think the antibiotics are called about 3-4 weeks ago to due a double ear infection as well as a severe cold, no fever. 1 week ago I started getting the chills, fever - basically severe cold/flu, no vomiting. Just fever, aches and pains, etc. my flu symptoms are now gone, but my tonsils are swollen. I also quit smoking 1 week ago when I started getting the cold/flu. Do you know any holistic remedies to cure these swollen tonsils. I ve been doubling up on my vitamins. I eat very healthy. Drink a lot of orange juice, and obviously don t smoke anymore. I ve heard of gargling coconut oil and swallowing. Any holistic doctors out there?

Hi,
It seems that you might be having acute follicular tonsillitis.
Might require one more course of antibiotic like Azithrmicin or amoxicilin, Clauvunic acid combination course for 3-5 days.
Do warm salt water or antiseptic lotion gargles, instead coconut oil gargles.
Avoid cold drinks and junk food.
Ok and take care.
