Suggest Treatment For Tender And Sore Buttocks After Injury
i fell down a 5 to 6 stairs landing on my left butt cheek and down my back. i hav a huge lump or knot and a huge blue and purple bruise on my butt cheek.and it is so tender and sore th slightest touch is super painful even if i try and sit really easy, do i need 2 get checked out at hospital or will it heal in time?

Hi.
As per your case history of sore on buttock.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for 5-7 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin, cefadroxil and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
