Suggest Treatment For The Puss Filled Bump On The Buttocks

HI, I AM 54 YR OLD, WHITE FEMALE, APPROX 185 LB.

TAKING NO MEDICATIONS, NO HEART PROBLEMS, NO HIGH BOOD PRESSURE, NO DIABETES (THOUGH ALL OF THIS IS VERY STRONG IN MY DADS FAMILY)

I HAVE DEVELOPED A PUSS FILLED, HONEYCOMB

SHAPED RASH ON MY BOTTOCKS. THIS IS PAINFULLY ITCHY. CLEANING ONLY SUBSIDES THE ITCHING FOR A VERT SHORT TIME. HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THIS MAY BE?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that the pus filled bump on the buttock along with pain and itching seems to be due to formation of a Perianal Abscess..
It occurs due to either infection in the glands in the area while it can also be due to bacterial infection of the skin leading to accumulation of pus below the skin and formation of a painful bump..
I would suggest you to consult a Proctologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
You can be advised to clean the area with antiseptic solution..
You can be advised to apply a combination of antibiotic and steroid ointment..
A short course of antibiotics and Anti-inflammatory painkiller can also be advised..
You can also be advised Incision and Drainage for faster resolution..
Keep the area clean and dry..
