Suggest Treatment For The Right Rib Joining The Hip Bone At The Side
I am a 77 year old women who has scoliosis.I was 36 when I was told I had it when my daughter went in for surgery at 16. My right rib and hip bone meet at he side,that puts a great strain on the middle to the lower back all the time.the pain level is between 8-10. I only take Tylenol ex.strength 4-6 a day. I m allergic to tramadol morphine,Novocain and codeine,perkaset.only take Vicadan,after knee surgeries etc.then get off as soon as I can. I ve had therapy where they stretch the back but it s a temporary thing.used tens unit, it also helps but when I stop the pain returns.can you help me thanks sarina
This can be arthritis of spine due to deviation in mechanical axis. There can be associated disc Protrusion leading to neuritic pain. You may need MRI spine to get detail diagnosis.
For symptoms analgesic and neurotropic medication can be started. Till time, avoid lifting weights, Sit with support to back. You can consult physiotherapist for help.
