Suggest Treatment For Throbbing Pain Behind The Breast Bone

I have an intermittent throbbing pain behind my breastbone and a general aching there when I am still. I am a 55 year old female, weighing 134 lbs., with a medical history of metastatic breast cancer with spread to the bones. Last scans showed no sternum involvement and I am wondering why it throbs when I move - ie. stand up, sit, turn suddenly. Painful to roll over in bed, particularly on to right side.

welcome to Health care magic.
1.As you have mentioned there is metastasis to the bones, in this case there are nerve endings which stimulate pain, as the bone getting destroyed.
2.If you are having your treatment ( chemo / radiotherapy ) on the top of that you can request your treating doctor to give you some symptomatic / pain relief.
3.And and ultrasound breast to see the condition of the breast lesion to see if there is any regrowth/growth.
4.SO get an appointment and needful investigations and treatment done.

Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health.
Anything to ask ? do not hesitate. Thank you.
