Had a bad fall and landed on my back on a slate floor. Pain is excruciating. No breaks but they said I could have a torn muscle. Pain is AWFUL.I can actually hear things snapping and moving in my back.Taking motren and valium/ What is the next step?
If there is persisting pain, torn muscle or ligament ha has to be considered. Consult an orthopedic and get evaluated. An MRI scan is required for further further. In most of the cases management will be conservative with splints and immobilization. Surgical correction is required rarely.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
