Suggest Treatment For Tumor Blocking Bile Duct Near Pancreas

Hello, My father was diagnosed with a tumor blocking his bile duct in his pancreas, The doctors put in a stint to re leave the bile so it can flow again. It has been 2 days since the stint was put in. How long until the symptoms of jaundice are gone? He is experiencing itching that is almost intolerable.
