Hello,
My father is 70 years old he has diabetis type 2 and uses only 1 time insulin a night which drops his blood sugar from 230-250 at night to 80 in the morning,He also has hypertension and his blood presuretension during the day is 150/100 mmHg.He also has one stent in one of his heart. He also had 10 years ago a sort of stoke which lasted very short did not give him any defect in his body, but that time the doctor said he was lucky if it had been 1mm way from a certain spot he might be paralyzed.
What we experince every 2-3 months my father gets bad,
He pukes, feels dizzy,HIS TOUNGE get swollen,so he can not clearly speek,he can walk but is very week,he is drowsy,we take him to the ER w,th an ambulance, then I guess he gets scared.his blood pressure raises and also his blood suger raises once he enters the ER.They make every check in the Hospital,They analyse his blood and urine, they perform EKG check ,icardiac troponin test,BT,MR everthying loos normal my father stays 5-6 hours in the ER,then he gets okay we go home his tounge gets smaller he is sometimes week but he gets okay like nothing happened. They give him NaCl in the hospital sometime an IV to drop his blood pressure very rare IV to drop his blood sugar and nothing more.
We are very desperate when he has this attack we thing he will die,but 10 hours later he seems like npothing happened.I searched the internet why this might happen but could not find any illenes that explains my fathers situation .This is happening for a year every 2 months.
