Suggest Treatment For Ulcerated Eye In A Baby

What is the treatment for an ulcerated eye in a baby - we are in West Africa and my watchmans baby fell and this has resulted in the ulcer - she is at the eye hospital and they are giving injections but say they may operate - is this standard treatment - the child is 1yr old

Trauma resulting in ulcer in the eye is a serious condition which can result in loss of vision in that eye.
If your opthalmologist is giving injections in the eye and had asked for surgery, then you should proceed for surgery as delay could affect future vision in that eye.
