Suggest Treatment For Umbilical Hernia

Hello, my name is Nichole and I was hoping to get information on what I should do. You see, back in 2011 I had surgery due to an umbilical hernia after having my first baby (emergency C-section 2010). The doctor put a mesh in BUT every day over the years my stomach still looks as if I m pregnant. It s hard and won t go down. I was wondering after a mesh is put in, is it still possible that the hernia came back? I go through pain everyday. I feel a bit uncomfortable going into see the same doctor who did it because the whole atmosphere of the place is a little unsettling. What should I do?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, abdomen distension could be due to flatulence, center obesity, and it may cause the hernia ( Re-0ccurednce of abdomen hernia even if it is being repaired, well repaired hernia may not come back).
Genetically constituted obesity may be the cause of abdomen protuberance, and it may cause the hernia again, to prevent this try to cut down the calorie in diet, do some exercise.
hope this information helps.
