Suggest Treatment For Umbilical Pain
Hello, A couple days ago I noticed pain in my belly button when pressure was applied. Ever since then, the pain has gotten so bad that I can t bare to bend over or sit up. Today I was cleaning which required me too bend over numerous times. It started hurting even worse so I looked at it and I had and still have bloody pus coming out. You can tell that it is a little swollen just by looking at it but I am over weight and have a deep belly button so I can t really tell how swollen it is or if there is a bump. I do take showers every day as well as clean my belly button. Any advice on what I should do to reduce pain or possibly have an idea of what may be going on? Thank you!

Pain over umbilical region or navel area or over your belly button should be evaluated further by clinical examination and various tests.
This kind of bump or swelling over the central abdomen could be cystic swelling or small boil or but I can not say exactly without doing inspection and palpation.
To diagnose this swelling,we need to examine it on the examination table.
After the examination, the doctor may advice you to undergo ultrasound of the bumps to confirm its diagnosis.
In my advice you should see surgeon if you have pain over there and the surgeon will examine it and accordingly advice you further whether to go for operation or not.
