Suggest Treatment For Urinary Retention And Blood In Urine

So just this morning I was fine until I had to use the restroom. I felt like I really had to pee but only a little bit came out and I started to feel a uncomfortable tingling sensation immediately after. I also discovered some blood in my urine. What does this mean!? Its starting to scare me!

Urologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, let me assure you,not to worry, but see a doctor first.
After an examination. the doctor will advise regarding further treatment, depending on various factors, like your age, possible causes and results of tests. If the retention of urine is significant, it'll be relieved by a tube.
You should always mention your age and gender, so answer can be specific.
Anyway, get your blood tests like,Hb, urea, creatinine, sugar,PSA(if male above 45 years), and an ultrasound scan of the abdomen.Urine test will be done if you can pass urine. You're welcome to send the reports to me here, as a direct question, for an expert opinion.
