Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Puss cells found means you are having a bacterial infection.
You should do a uroculture to determine the type of bacteria that is causing it and the most suitable antibiotic to fight it.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

* As per my surgical experience, it is the residual amount of urine from bladder inflammation which gives urinary retention in bladder.
* Proper care with plenty of liquids, precise antibiotics, anti inflammatory drugs will recover faster.
