Two weeks ago I was diagnosed with having a urinary tract infection and then I took the antibiotics as recommended. My symptoms started to clear up then I got thrush. I took the medication for thrush and then that started to clear up. A day after I was diagnosed with having a UTI My boyfriend was tested for chlamydia because he was told by his ex that she has chlamydia. This weekend when I had sex I experienced some discomfort and bled a little. Now I feel as though the symptoms of the UTI are back but I was wondering if maybe I am confusing the symptoms with something else like chlamydia. Is this possible? What should I do?
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You may have urinary tract infection or sexualy transmitted disease like chlamydia. You should go for examination. If needed go for urine routine and microscopic examination as well as culture and sensitivity test. Levofloxacin or norfloxacin is useful for urine tract infection. Doxycyclin is very useful in chlamydia infection. Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
