Suggest Treatment For Vitiligo

My 5 yr old granddaughter has vitiligio that started developing in her private areas and is spreading. Coincidentally she has had foul smelling stools for years and still has accidents and let it sit in her pants. My common sense tells me that the foul smell = bacteria infection or disease and the smelly stool on her skin are causing her vitiligio. What do you think and what should I recommend my daughter to do?

HI
Well come to HCM
Stool odor is concern this could be infection or may not be to rule out this better to get done the stool analysis this is the best option you have because without confirmation not good to put the child on antibiotic, now for the vitiligo if this is confirmed then she must have been given some medicine for that, you need to continue this for long time because the regime of drugs goes on changing from time to time, if this is not confirmed so better get it confirmed, hope this information helps, have a nice day.
