Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The given symptoms could be due to arthritis condition and it seems to be rheumatoid arthritis, although it is very less likely in male person.

Right now, the present symptoms of vomiting could be due to gastritis that must have been developed because of the drug that must have been given for pain and it could be NSAID (Non steroid anti-inflammatory drug) which is very common for inducing the gastritis.

Generally, PPI such as Omeprazole oral medicine is given with NSAID, with anti-emetic drug. I would advise to reduce or stop the NSAID till the gastritis is resolved.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain
