Suggest Treatment For Vomiting And Nausea While On Carafate And Pantoprazole

So I have been on panprozatol carafate and Santa daily. Still having upper stomach pain, nausea and burps tasting like burnt popcorn. I had a scope about 2 months ago bc these symptoms along w vomiting and passing blood had been randomly occurring. No blood and no vomiting yet but the pain and burping are back and still have a sour stomach and some nausea? Could this possibly be bile reflux?

Hi,

Even with the drug administered like Pantoprazole and having the same symptoms of upper GI tract so it means that the dose of drug may not be enough or molecule may not be responsive or the life style might not be changed.

Try Omeprazole once in day for few weeks, avoid heavy meal, spicy food, avoid taking coffee, alcohol, smoking prior to bed, infection H. pylori need to be ruled out too.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
