Suggest Treatment For Watery And Burning Eyes

My mom is 89 years old. She has been complaining about her eyes watering for the last 3 weeks. She just had her eyes checked last week & was given drops(systane balance) that she's used since then. Today her eyes were burning so bad she couldn

't hardly stand it. (She went to an optomotrist) They told her years ago she had dry eyes. Other than that & dizziness & fuzziness in her head she doesn't seem like she will be 90 in October.

Hi there...

Sorry to hear that your mother is suffering from symptoms of watery eyes and burning sensation. Dry eyes could cause the above symptoms and systane balance should help.

Also try to avoid too much TV/computer/ mobile phone viewing which could cause strain on the eyes.

Regards,
Dr. Divya Kuttikrishnan
