Suggest Treatment For Weak Legs

I am 57 yrs. 5 months old woman, suffering in leg 1) while walking feeling weakness 2)feels, i will fall down, 3)sometime there is pain.Bone Density Test done with a result of Oseoponiea. presently Dr. Amal Bhattacharya attached with Ruby General HospitalKolkata treating me with advised to take Crtigen forte twice daily, Idrofos kit, one and advised for MRI test of L/S focussing L2 and L3. While consulting with other Orthopaedic physician it has been told that the matter need be consulted with Neurologist since this relates with L/S L2 and L3 Now i am totally puzzled. Pl. advise

Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Osteopenia requires monitoring by orthopedician and bone density test is low due to osteoporosis.
2. The nerve getting compressed due to osteoporosis between L2 and L3 leading to weakness requires neurologist opinion, however, decompression by an orthopedician is necessary. Main consultation should be with orthopedician with neurologist opinion.
3. Avoiding of further compression is important. Walking stick is necessary for support. Further osteoporosis and improvement in osteoporosis needs to be done with biphosphonates. Along with it physiotherapy, and exercises are necessary. Calcium and Vit D supplements needs to be taken along regularly.
