Suggest Treatment For Weight Loss In Case Of Colon Cancer

My husban had colone canecr two years ago wone the fight but is loosing to much weight. Hes gone from 186lb to 142lb in the las 2 years. In the last month hes lost 8lb.Hes geting depressed. He whent through sugery they removed his large intesten and chemotherapy for 7 months.How can I help him gain weight and feel better of him self?

His doctors would need to make sure that the weight loss is not related to any underlying issue that needs treatment.

If a lot of the colon has been removed , he may have problems with absorption of food and this may cause weight loss.
If this is not an issue then the weight loss may be due to his depression which would also need treatment.

Appetite stimulants would help if there is no specific problem.
