Suggest Treatment For Wound In Foot After Injury And On Chemo

My husband is on chemo (9 so far) and noon yesterday stepped on a nail and ran it deep into his foot. He went to DR who started him on Cephalexin 800 mg. He had 2 before going to bed, 1 @ 6 pm, another @ 10. Woke up at 3 am cdt with a 100.5 fever. I gave him a 3rd antibiotic, but should I take him to er? He is 56, healthy heart etc, except for return of colon cancer in FEB. He does not want to "bother" anyone during the night. Help, please, what do I do? Take him now, or wait till morning?
