Suggest Treatment For Wrist Fracture

my fiberglass cast re a wrist fracture during the night, after being in the dark when coming back to bed there was a brightness on the white edging of the cast at the hand area and by the elbow. Is that normal possibly to do with the fiberglass and change of dark - light - and then dark ?
