Suggest Treatment To Keep The Abscess Of BCG Safe From Infection

my 3 month old got an abcess after her bcg she had it drained today ,,the gp said to clean it this evening with some savlon but never said if it was to be covered to keep it clean ,what is the best way to keep the area from getting infected ,thankyou

Hi...BCG abscess doesn't need any treatment with anti TB drugs and the best way is what is suggested by your GP. But if it starts increasing in size or redness or if the kid develops high fever, please take her to medical attention.
