Suggest Treatment To Rejuvenate After Coming Off From Vicodin

I am a healthy 73 year old woman. On Vicodin 4x a day for around 2 years for back pain. It did not help much. Although I never felt sedated, over time I began to become very passive, lost my interest in all my hobbies, began to eat less and sleep more. I am also taking paxil. I decided to titrate down on my own and am now off of the opiate. I am wondering how long it might take for my energy to come back and for my interest in things to rejuvenate. Thanks

That is such a great example of strong human will, good that you were able to bare your pain without the Vicodin.
It shouldn't take long, after being off completely you might feel worse for a while but then things will go back to normal i would say in around 3 months, nevertheless please contact your doctor for proper monitoring of your pain medication plus your doctor might be able to support you gaining back your interest in life.
