Hi Doctor, I have developed a keloid scar after a small accident, followed by stitches in my fore arm. It has been 6 years now. I would really like to get rid of it now. I consulted a few physicians and they suggested that I leave it as such because a surgery could actually lead to a bigger scar than before. Can I know if there are any treatments available or any creams that can be used to minimize the scar ? The scar size is about 10 cm and it really makes me feel odd in public. Your advice would be really appreciated. Thank you !
