Hello,

Your calcium level is 7.In best of my knowledge calcium should be between 9-11 mg percent. so your calcium levels are very low.Low calcium, magnesium & low blood sugar may lead to cramps in arms and legs.

You should do following to correct your level of calcium:
-Take citrate preparation of calcium. This type of calcium preparation is absorbed well & it has good bio availability.
- You may have diet rich in calcium like milk and milk products, egg, cheese, etc.
- Take vitamin D supplements. Without vitamin D calcium is not absorbed in body.

Take all these for at least 4-6 months. Concomitant use of vitamin E preparation with L carnitine decrease the chances of occurrence of cramps.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mukesh Tiwari, Orthopedic Surgeon
