Suggest Vaccination For A Scratch On Right Hand And Left Cheek By Dog
Hi,
My kid got scartch in right hand and left cheek by dog .but very lightly hurted,only impressions were there and scratch got vanished after 30 min and left untreated for the past 20 days . But now when we consulted doctor, we were shocked to hear about the measures that we should taken. The dog was vaccinated and unluckily the dog also died because of fertilizer poison. Now doctors are telling like now taking injection for this mere useless . So confused.please advice us what to do now.. really panic and very shame that we are unawared that we didn't took any steps initially even we did'n had TT for my kid as its very mild scratch,,Please guide us like is there any check should be done to know about these virus

The incubation period of Rabies after dog bite is 2 months to years and some times even longer.
Better take Rabipur vaccine shots right from today (0 day) and 3,4,14 and 28 and also a booster dose on 90th day.
There is every possibility that Rabies may be prevented after this course.
