I think at those levels, he needs to be on medicines for
dyslipidemia. These are safe medicines and may benefit his
cholesterol and triglycerides. the medicines like
atorvastatin and
rosuvastatin may help. it may also be protective in conditions like stroke or
heart disease.
A good regime of exercise and diet of low calories may be helpful as well.
If you start the medications a watch needs to be kept on
lipid profile. once in every 3-4 months may help.
